There are several organizations in Connecticut that will help people who have wildlife concerns or problems. This includes assistance with sick, injured or orphaned animals as well as assistance in dealing appropriately with nuisance wildlife.
Some University-based internet resources that can provide information on wildlife problems in the form of fact sheets and online publications are also listed.

- Wildlife in Crisis, Inc.
- PHONE 203-544-9913. Located in Weston Connecticut, but serves much of the state. The link takes you to their website on Wildlife. They are a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to wildlife preservation and land conservation. They have a phone number, rescue and rehabilitate wildlife, and will try to assist you with wildlife problems.

- A Place Called Hope- A Raptor Rescue, Rehabilitation, and Education Center
- PHONE 203-804-3453 or 860-575-9791. This center is a 501 3c non-profit group. From their website: "At A PLACE CALLED HOPE, Inc., each one of us possess a CT. Wildlife Rehabilitators License and a Federal Permit. We specialize in the care of Birds of Prey. That means eagles, hawks, owls, falcons, harriers, vultures and osprey. We also attend to Corvids better known as Crows and Ravens. (Shhh... Songbirds are never turned away!)"
- Mystic Aquarium's Animal Rescue Program
- 24-HOUR PHONE 860-572-5955, ext.107. The link takes you to their website Animal Rescue Program section. They run a hotline and program to assist stranded and distressed marine animals.
- Turtle Rescue League
- A non-profit turtle rescue organization in Massachusetts, but can assist you in finding help in your area. They frequently receive questions and referrals from Connecticut. The link takes you to their page which has phone numbers and a link to their facebook page. They run a sanctuary, do turtle rescues and rehab, and give helpful advice about turtles.

- Wildlife Intruder Excluder
- The Massachusetts SPCA's virtual interactive house that will allow you to choose the location of your home or yard affected by the intruder, identify the intruder, and find a humane, long-term solution.
